Questions
- What counts as an event?
- Every accepted pageview (including single-page-app navigations), every custom goal from the browser or your server, and every new payment. Engagement pings, identify calls, excluded visits, bots and your own dashboard views don't count. Usage is pooled across all the sites you own, so teammates who view a shared site are never charged for it.
- What happens if I go over my plan?
- You'll get an email at 80% and at 100% of your monthly events, and the dashboard shows the same notice. After a small buffer, tracking pauses until your allowance resets or you upgrade, and the dashboard says exactly when it paused, so a pause never looks like a traffic drop. Your data, reports, share links and embeds stay available the whole time, and upgrading resumes tracking right away.
- When does my allowance reset?
- Every month on your billing date, in UTC. Yearly plans reset monthly too: you pay for twelve months at once, but the allowance is per month. Settings → Billing shows the exact reset time.
- How does the free trial work?
- New accounts get 14 days with 10,000 events and no card. Choose a plan any time during or after the trial to keep tracking.
- Can I change or cancel my plan?
- Yes. Upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge, and you confirm the amount before paying. You can cancel at the end of your billing period from Settings → Billing, where you also find your invoices and payment method.
- What about AI crawlers and bots?
- Bot and AI-crawler requests are tracked separately and don't use your events. Each account includes 100,000 bot requests a month.
