Features
Buyer insights
Choose a site, period and currency in Traffic, then open Insights. It uses the same dates and visitor filters.
Buyers
Compare paying visitors with period visitors. Repeat payments count once per visitor ID; distinct customers and transactions are shown separately.
Country and source rankings use each visitor's first pageview in the period, need at least 10 visitors per group, and rank all groups before showing the top 10. They are observed rates, not a statistical significance test.
Purchase heatmap
- Compare Payments, Customers or Revenue by weekday and hour in your reporting timezone.
- Hover or select a cell for counts, use arrow keys while focused, or choose Show data table.
Purchase timing
See each customer's first observed positive payment in the selected currency, the median days and visits to buy, and goals recorded in the 30 days before payment. Each customer counts once per goal; this shows association, not what caused a sale.
Sources
Compare source totals with the immediately preceding interval of equal duration.
Details
- Customers without a period pageview can still contribute payments and revenue.
- Customers can appear in several heatmap cells, so cell totals need not equal distinct customers.
- Timing only includes customers whose first observed positive payment falls in this period. Customers without known pre-purchase pageviews are counted separately and excluded from timing and visit percentages.
- An observed visit starts after more than 30 minutes between pageviews. Imported or missing history, daily visitor IDs and consent choices limit these observations; they don't establish a first-ever purchase or a prediction.
- Average daily visitors sums daily distinct counts and divides by reporting-zone calendar days, including zero-traffic and partial boundary days.
- Insights excludes free trials and fully refunded or zero/net-negative payments. Partial refunds reduce revenue. Visitor filters restrict payments through linked visitor IDs.
- Shared dashboards receive these aggregates, without identities or individual journeys.
