- Traffic → Acquisition → UTM: each UTM source, medium, campaign, term and content value.
- Traffic → Acquisition → Ref: choose ref, source or via to compare. Each is recorded separately; link source is independent of UTM source.
- Traffic → Campaigns: each complete combination of the five UTM tags. A dash means the tag was absent.
Filter by a campaign
Click a row or use Filter
Details searches every recorded value and can sort by revenue.
Filter an exact combination
In Acquisition → Campaign, choose All UTM combinations and click Filter on a row, or choose Campaign combination in the toolbar's Filter menu. Select several combinations, or use is not to exclude them.
Save it as a segment
Reuse a campaign filter later from Segments.
Verify it works
Open a tagged link to your site and check Acquisition and Campaigns for the same values. If your own browser is excluded, use one that allows tracking.
Details
- The Primary referral tag view uses ref first, then via, then source. It also includes older visits whose original parameter is unknown; older combined values can't be split into their original parameters.
- Reload an already open tracked page to load the current script.
- Parameter revenue credits the customer's first tracked visit, even when they paid later. UTM and referral metadata are still sent when URL query stripping is enabled.
- Combination filters match all five tags on one pageview. Separate UTM filters may match different pageviews from the same visitor.
- Search in Campaigns matches any of the five tags; sorting and Load more cover all combinations. Visitors can appear in several combinations, so row counts are not additive.
- Combination revenue credits the first tracked combination. It can appear on a row without visitors in these dates, which can't be used as a visitor filter.
