Get started
Exclude your visits
On this page
Use exclusion rules for paths, IPs, countries and hostnames, or ignore a single browser.
Exclusion rules
Open Settings → Exclusions
In your site's settings, open the Exclusions card.
Add rules
Add paths such as
/admin/*, IP addresses, country codes or staging hostnames.
Rules apply to future incoming visits. They don't delete data you already collected.
Ignore one browser
Open the console on your tracked website
Use the browser's developer tools on the website itself, not the MetricRaven dashboard.
Run this snippet
script.js// Run in the console on the website you are tracking, then reload. localStorage.setItem("ana_ignore", "true"); location.reload(); // To count this browser again: localStorage.removeItem("ana_ignore"); location.reload();Repeat where needed
The setting is per browser and per website domain, so repeat it for each one you want to exclude.
Verify it works
With the flag set, reload a page: no request to /api/v1/collect appears in the Network panel.
Details
- There is no special
?ana_ignore=trueURL switch in the tracker; use the console snippet above. - The tracker treats
ana_ignorevalues of"true"or"1"as excluded.
