Install on Podia
Podia's third-party code setting adds the tag to your public pages, including checkout. It needs a paid Podia plan.
Open Admin → Settings → Analytics
From your Podia home, open your site's Admin, then Settings and Analytics.
Edit Third-party code and paste the snippet
Replace
YOUR_SITE_IDwith the public site ID from your site's Settings → Install card. The site ID is public and safe in browser code; never put your secret key in a page.Website tracking code<script defer src="https://metricraven.com/js/script.js" data-site-id="YOUR_SITE_ID" ></script>Use Website tracking code, not the conversion tracking code, and save.
Log out, then open your site
Podia hides tracking code while you're logged in, so test in a private window.
Verify it works
Open your live website in a normal browser window (not an automated or embedded one). In the browser's Network panel, look for script.js and then a request to /api/v1/collect whose response contains ok: true. Open your site's Traffic tab and choose Refresh; the selected dates must include your visit.
Nothing showing? See Troubleshooting.
Podia places tracking code at the end of the page body rather than in the head. That's fine for MetricRaven: the tag is deferred either way.
Notes
- If the option is greyed out on a paid plan, verify your account email first. It isn't available during a trial.
- Podia doesn't load tracking code in the customer area, product viewer or community, so those visits aren't recorded.
- Add every hostname your site opens on (your custom domain and any Podia address) to your site's Settings → General → Site domains.
- If you use a cookie banner, connect it with Consent & visitor IDs.
Attribute sales
To credit Podia sales to the visits that brought the buyer, connect Stripe and follow Attribute revenue with Podia.
Optional script attributes are listed in Install & verify. To exclude your own visits, see Exclude your visits.
